Teri-Ann and John came to us with a clear vision: they wanted a showstopping media wall that not only looked incredible but also worked seamlessly with their existing sound system. They needed storage, visual impact, and thoughtful design that could adapt to family life—including their boisterous, four-legged companion.

As with all of our furniture, everything was made from scratch in our workshop—but this one called for something extra special. While sketching ideas in the moment during a design chat, Hayley came up with the concept for the custom pocket doors—balancing acoustic performance with visual finesse.

These handcrafted doors feature precise cut-outs designed to allow sound to travel freely through, without compromise. They slide back neatly out of the way when the family is gathered for a film night, when the room’s being used as a workout space, or when the dog’s making his rounds. It’s a clever, considered solution that’s as practical as it is beautiful.

Bespoke slatted detailing gives the whole piece a distinct character, complemented by dimmable lighting in the display shelving and a soft cinematic strip glow above. At the heart of it all sits the Evonic e-lectra 1800 fire—supplied by our trusted partners at Stoke Flame—bringing warmth, ambience, and balance to the bold design.
