Liz and Craig came to us through a recommendation, looking to turn an awkward nook beneath their staircase into something far more special. Together, we explored a variety of wood finishes before settling on a rich Rubio Monocoat stain that brought out the natural beauty of the ash veneer. We layered in warm LED strip lighting to add a gentle glow and highlight the textures, along with push-to-open shaker doors for hidden storage and a sleek, uninterrupted look.

A bespoke push-to-open cabinet was also integrated to neatly conceal the electric meter—proof that even the most practical elements can feel considered and beautifully finished.

Now, what was once a forgotten space is a true feature wall. Whether it’s storing glasses, showcasing bottles, or simply catching the eye as you walk past, this custom creation hits the sweet spot between function and form.
